Star India batter Virat Kohli penned a heartfelt note for wife Anushka Sharma after India’s T20 World Cup 2024 victory. Notably, the Men in Blue beat South Africa in the final of the tournament on Saturday, June 30 at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados to clinch their second T20I title.
Kohli was one of the architects of India’s triumph as he played a marvellous knock of 76 (59) after India were left reeling at 34/3 inside the powerplay. After the early fall of wickets, Kohli guided India to a good total 176/7 which proved to be enough as South Africa could only reach 169/8 in their 20 overs handing India a seven-run win.
